Joyce

This has been a very hectic week with few things like flooding our bedroom when the water heater broke etc. However all is quiet at the moment and I am injoying catching up on all the fun stuff you all are doing. Congratulations to Steph and Brian. What great pictures of you all and the darling little girls. The joy you were having just jumps right out of the screen.

How exciting for the new car. Cindy sounds just about as excited as you. It is a great choice and a better safer one at that. We can't wait to see it along with some of the clay work Cindy talked about.

Happy Birthday Angie! We hope you have a super day. We love seeing the pictures of Liv and Lex growing and changing and fun things like tennis etc. Keep up the good work. You are very missed. What a beautiful place it seems to be where you live.

Arlyn has had several very good days and we have enjoyed some short rides. His heart doctor this week said his heart is better still. He has also had some bad times thinking we are being robbed, trying to chase away the images that are sleeping all over the house and such.

All in all ---All is well. How is that for a bunch of all's. We love you all and know how hard it is for Sheryl and Jeff to be so far away but this blog brings you close so don't worry.

  1. Oh my goodness! What a mess the water heater must have made. I'm certainly glad that you have Danielle, Jeremy and Karen there to help. I just dread the thought of things like that, but I know our turn will come.

It is good to know that dad is enjoying some good days. I hope he still enjoys being out in the car, and good to hear that the heart Dr. has encouraging news.

We love and miss you guys. Thanks for posting the update. Hope things have settled down.

  2. Well, somehow I managed to post as Jen. That what I get for not paying attention.

  3. If Jen had actually been the one making that first comment, she would have said pretty much the same thing.

    Love you!

  4. Great news to hear the heart is doing well and that you have been able to get out a little bit.

So sorry to hear about the hot water heater. I've been through that mess before but fortunately the only thing that flooded was the landing at the bottom of the basement stairs so there was no furniture to have to work around. That would be awful in a bedroom to try and pull up carpet and dry things out.

Alyssa and I need to come up some Saturday afternoon and bring her flute she made in ceramics. Maybe we could even bring her cute car.

Tell everyone at your house hi from all of us and we love you all.
